Online General Information Session

This online MFS Firefighter Recruitment Information Session will be the final chance this year to hear directly from firefighters about a career with the MFS.

Through this session you can learn more about the skills and qualities we look for in MFS firefighters and gain an understanding of the diverse work and career opportunities available across the MFS.

Whether you're considering applying or simply want to learn more about the role, our team will be on hand to answer your questions and share their experiences.

We’re looking for people from all backgrounds who want to step up and make a real difference.

This online information session will cover the same content as the in-person events, providing an opportunity for those who were unable to attend in person to receive the same information.

Go beyond the stereotypes and find out what it really takes to become a Full-Time Firefighter at this female-only information night.

This is your chance to ask questions and to hear from female firefighters about how they got started, how the role fits with their lifestyle and responsibilities, and how you can join the action.

You’ll learn about the variety of roles within the MFS, from frontline fire and rescue, technical rescue, to structured pathways that support career progression right through to executive leadership.
