Where a site has notifiable quantity of hazardous chemicals (notifiable quantity in relation to notifying SafeWork SA), it is the responsibility of the person conducting a business or undertaking at the workplace to ensure that an emergency plan is prepared for the workplace and meets the requirements under Division 4 of Chapter 3 Part 2 of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012. An Emergency Services Information Package (ESIP) should be developed in conjunction with and included within the emergency plan.

To lodge your emergency plan and ESIP, please complete the Dangerous Goods Emergency Plan Submission form and attach associated documents via our online submission.
