MFS advises that crews are responding to a road crash and subsequent gas leak at a motor vehicle crash into a gas supply line.

The incident is located at 1274 South Road, St Marys.

The incident is gas supply line is broken and gas is escaping freely in the area.

Members of the public are advised to:

avoid the area if possible, nearby residents should continue to remain inside with doors and windows closed. Ensure ignition sources are extinguished. Follow directions from Emergency Services personnel. Relevant authorities are attending this incident..

While the MFS is aware of this incident, if you notice a different emergency incident that is unattended, call "000".
