Emergency Response
If you are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired, you can use the National Relay Service to make an emergency call to police, fire or ambulance:

Non-Emergency Calls
"If you are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired, you can use the National Relay Service to make non-emergency calls to South Australian emergency services information numbers:
- TTY users, dial 133 677 and then ask for the emergency services information number that you need. For example, you could ask for the General enquiries number 8204 3600.
- Speak and Listen users dial 1300 555 727 and then ask for the emergency services information number that you need.
- Internet Relay users visit the following link http://relayservice.gov.au/making-a-call/internet-relay/ to find out more information in using this function to make an emergency call.
- Video Relay Users****, choose the nrs.videorelay contact on Skype that is online and available. Then ask for the emergency services information number that you need.
- If you prefer to use SMS relay, send an SMS to the NRS on 0423 677 767. In this SMS, include the emergency services information number that you need and a short message for the emergency services contact.
