Murray Bridge Station

The MFS has delivered emergency services to the Murray Bridge community since the station was established by the SA Fire Brigade on 17 October 1923.

Murray Bridge Station is staffed by a crew of 16 retained firefighters who are available on a roster basis, 24 hours per day, every day of the year.

Murray Bridge Fire Station has a Heavy Duty Urban Pumper with a pumping capacity of 3,800 litres per minute and is staffed by one supervisor and three firefighters and a Mid Urban Pumper with a pumping capacity of 2,250 litres per minute and is staffed by one supervisor and three firefighters.

Murray Bridge Fire Station staff train on Monday nights from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
