St Marys Station

St Marys Fire Station is staffed by 40 full-time firefighters providing prevention and community preparedness, operational preparedness, emergency response and community recovery services 24 hours per day, every day of the year.

St Marys Fire Station has a Heavy Duty Urban Pumper with 3,800 litres per minute pumping capacity staffed by an Officer and three Firefighters and a Heavy Duty Urban Pump Rescue with 3,800 litres per minute pumping capacity staffed by an Officer and three Firefighters.

The MFS has a 40-year station and a 15-year appliance replacement or refurbishment program.

St Marys Fire Station was opened by Mr J N Keynes, Chairman of The Fire Brigades Board on 3 May 1965.

St Marys Fire Station has water recycling for training purposes and a 1.5 kW solar power system installed.
