MFS at the Royal Adelaide Show!
Roll up, Roll up! No-one missed the Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) in the Jubilee Pavilion at the Royal Adelaide Show this year.
There were 2 fantastic new activities!
For those who had never actually used a fire extinguisher, there were opportunities to learn how to use one with the latest technology in extinguisher training. Loads accepted our challenge … how quickly can you put the fire down?
And our long-standing favourites were still with us. Kids took a journey down ‘Livelonga Lane’, learning what to do in a house fire then entered the competition to win great prizes. They also tried to become the daily “Stop, Cover, Drop and Roll” champion – learning what to do if their clothes caught on fire.
Everything was free - free activities, free give-aways, and everyone had a great time with the firefighters … not to mention learning some very useful fire safety information.
Can't wait until next year's Royal Adelaide Show!
