MFS advises that crews are continuing to respond to a factory fire at a commercial premises involving pallets.

The location of the emergency is the corner of Ceafield Road and Beafield Road at Para Hills West, in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.


The emergency is causing smoke to be visible and drift across Para Hills West and surrounding suburbs to the south. While the fire has now been contained, the amount of smoke may increase in the next 1-2 hours as firefighters begin to pull the mounds of smouldering pallets apart and wet them down thoroughly.

People are advised to stay indoors and close all doors and windows until the smoke has passed. Motorists are asked to use caution driving in the area including along Main North Road as there are still many emergency vehicles in the area.
