Issued for Northern Heights near Murray Bridge and surrounding communities

MFS advises that crews are responding to a structure fire at a meat processing facility.

The location of the emergency is Lagoon Road near Mannum Road and Nilpena Road at Northern Heights near Murray Bridge.

The emergency is contained but fire continues to burn within the facility. The fire is causing smoke to drift across Northern Heights and surrounding communities. Members of the public, including people with respiratory issues are asked to remain indoors and to close all doors and windows until the smoke has passed.
