The MFS advises that the threat posed by a fire at mattress recycling factory in Adelaide's south has reduced.
The incident is located at Chapman Road at Hackham. The fire remains contained and MFS and CFS firefighters continue to extinguish hotspots with the assistance of excavation equipment. Smoke in Hackham and surrounding suburbs has reduced significantly, but motorists and residents are advised that smoke may continue to be present in the local area throughout the afternoon. .
Motorists and pedestrians should use caution in the area due to the presence of emergency services vehicles.
