The MFS advises that the threat posed by the DRY CREEK fire near Hanson Road at Dry Creek near Wingfield in Adelaide's North has reduced. The grass fire is under control and smoke is reducing. The Port River Expressway has been reopened, however the public should be aware that 40 km/hr speed restrictions do apply. has reduced.
Although the threat has reduced, be aware that some risks are still present.
There may be smoke in the area. Visibility may be reduced and there may be falling trees.
Check your property for any fires and embers - particularly in roof spaces, under decks, raised floors and in gutters.
Take care in the fire area over the next few days.
