Loxton Station

Loxton Fire Station is staffed by 12 retained firefighters that provide prevention and community preparedness, operational preparedness, emergency response and community recovery services 24 hours per day, every day of the year.

Loxton Fire Station has a Medium Urban 4WD Pump with 1800 litres per minute pumping capacity staffed by an Officer and three Firefighters.

Loxton also houses a back up Medium Urban Pumper with 1800 litres per minute pumping capacity.

The MFS has a 40-year station and a 15-year appliance replacement or refurbishment program.

Loxton Fire Station was opened by the Hon Wayne Matthew MP, Minister of Emergency Services on 27 November 1994.
