White Ribbon Morning Tea – Friday 29 July 2016

The South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) is embarking on the journey to become an accredited White Ribbon Workplace.

This comprehensive and extensive process publically recognises workplaces taking active steps to prevent and respond to violence against women.

As part of its commitment to becoming an accredited White Ribbon Workplace, the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) is supporting the 2016 White Ribbon Australia event ‘White Ribbon Night’ on Friday, 29 July by holding a morning tea at the Adelaide Fire Station.

Entry to the White Ribbon morning tea at Adelaide Fire Station will be by gold coin donation and members of the public are invited to join us.

During the morning tea the MFS will launch our “We Swear” campaign and MFS Chief Officer, Greg Crossman and the MFS Executive Team will take The Oath.

Individual donations are able to be made on the day, or for those who can’t make it to the station, donations can be made through the specific event fundraising website set up by the MFS: - https://wrn16.everydayhero.com/au/sa-metropolitan-fire-service

All donations collected at this event will be forwarded in their entirety to White Ribbon Australia.
