ADVICE MESSAGE

Issued for Dry Creek and surrounding suburbs

MFS advises that crews are responding to an incident involving a chemical that is burning and venting to atmosphere at an industrial logistics warehouse.

The location of the emergency Cavan Road at Dry Creek in Adelaide's north.

 

The emergency is being monitored. MFS firefighters have removed the chemical from the warehouse and will continue to monitor the condition of the pallet. A precautionary 250 metre exclusion zone is in place around the business, with some neighbouring buildings remaining evacuated. Traffic has been restored to major roads, however a section of Cavan Road at Dry Creek remains closed. Currently there is no risk to public safety.
