Stage 4: Panel Interview
The interview provides applicants with the opportunity to demonstrate their suitability for and understanding of the role of a MFS full-time Firefighter. The interview questions seek to obtain information on transferable skills, experience and attributes relevant to the role of a firefighter. The interview also provides the panel with an opportunity to get to know the applicant and understand how they have handled different situations in life. Applicants will be required to submit their CV/Resume prior to interview and this will also be discussed.
At the conclusion of the interview, you will be required to complete an Informed Consent Form (National Police Checking Service) that will enable the MFS to obtain an offender history report. This document will only be processed if you progress from the interview stage. You will need to bring with you, to be attached to this form, a photocopy of your birth certificate or passport and a photocopy of your driver's licence.
