Stage 1: Online Application & Application Fee
Applications are only open for a prescribed period of time - generally 2 weeks. Relevant dates will be published on our website and will provide as much advance notification as possible.
Once applications open, applicants are required to complete and submit the Online Application Form. The Online Application Form will only be available for the period in which applications are being accepted. It is important that the Online Application Form is completed accurately and in full. Applications must be lodged prior to the closing date. No late applications will be accepted.
In your application you will need to provide a current email address. Throughout the recruitment process, the MFS communicates with all applicants via the email address you provide. Failure to provide a current or correct e-mail address will not be accepted as a reason for not receiving information.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received and processed as quickly as possible. Applicants will be advised of the outcome via email.
Applicants who satisfy the requirements of the Online Application Form will be invited to pay a $100 application fee. The application fee contributes to expenses incurred by the MFS in the administration, testing and processing of applications. The MFS do not retain any part of this fee. The fee is non-refundable.
Instructions will be issued to applicants via email once their Online Application has been validated as eligible.
Holders of a current Department of Human Services (DHS) issued concession card may be exempt from paying the administration fee. If you are claiming exemption, you will be required to provide your current and valid card as evidence in order to be eligible for the next stage of testing. Failure to present the card will exclude you from undertaking the assessment.
