MFS firefighters are responsible for protecting more than 90% of South Australia’s population, industry, assets and infrastructure from the effects of fire, chemical incidents, road crash incidents and other emergencies.
Our firefighters have a broad range of career development options available to them, including; operational firefighting, community education, engineering, built environs, training, fire cause investigation, triple zero, management, planning, Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) and Hazmat.
